Effective Minutes Writing

Picture1.jpg

In view of our responses to the current crisis, we are engaged in more meetings whether it be online or face-to-face, board meetings, staff meetings or meetings with beneficiaries. With the increasing frequency, one of the most critical but often overlooked element for documenting meetings is effective minute-writing.

As more staff are expected to write minutes of meeting on a rotational basis, we are pleased to share a 1-day skills intensive workshop where you will apply step-by-step tools through “live” writing exercises and case scenarios that can help you even with impromptu meetings.

By the end of the 1-day workshop, you will:

  1. Be more comprehensive when writing minutes.

  2. Be able to take an active approach to clarifying and ascertaining facts and decisions during the meeting.

  3. Be able to focus on the 3 main components of the meeting for better minutes writing.
